 Altama Plantation WMA - Pollinator Garden                      Jan 12 (2-4); Feb. 9th (9am-noon); March 16th (9am-noon)

Help GA DNR maintain a Pollinator Garden in this historic 1930's era garden. Tools needed: trowels, shovels, rakes, gas powered leaf blowers. Moderate. Bring water, snacks, & lunch. Wear pants, sturdy shoes, long sleeves, work gloves, sun & bug protection.

 Townsend WMA - Sand Pine Removal 
Feb. 22nd & 23rd (9am- 3pm)

Help remove the invasive Sand Pine from longleaf restoration sites. This area is critical habitat for gopher tortoises and indigo snakes. 
Moderate to strenuous activity. Bring water, snacks, and lunch. Wear pants, sturdy shoes, long sleves, work gloves, sun & bug protection.
